Pete Herger is Connecticut’s hometown Rock n’ Roll artist, and by extension, a special voice in American music.
The songwriting and recordings which Pete crafts contains distinctive undercurrents of The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, the Rolling Stones, and U2. Yet Herger’s classical music upbringing has also enabled him to create a unique sonic identity inspired by earlier rock stars like Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach, as well as Buddy Holly, Chucky Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley.

Peter marshals these combined artistic forces into a commanding unity of melody, harmony, song structure, and lyrical prowess, all underpinned by Herger’s powerful voice conveying raw, honest emotion and a singular, truthful authenticity remarkable in comparison to much of the music currently being produced today.

Pete is also a compelling, riveting live entertainer, motivated every night to create the connection between artist and audience which underpins the best of Rock n’ Roll music from the beginning. Whenever and wherever he plays, Pete lives to entertain with high-energy performances, and to share the power of Rock n’ Roll Music with all who want it and need it.
Herger is currently finishing his first LP, scheduled for an innovative song-by-song release in 2018 on all streaming and media formats in connection with the new episodic artist series, Pete Herger’s Rock n’ Roll™, through Pete’s personal record label in partnership with PP Productions and major digital distribution platforms. All content from this series, including music and video, is available right here on PETEHERGER.COM.

While many commentators, and even some of rock’s legacy artists, have recently suggested that Rock n’ Roll is a tired, moribund genre, now devoid of passion and worse, cultural relevance, Pete Herger stands alone in his unshakable belief that Rock n’ Roll is Forever, and for Everyone, a beacon of light in a sometimes dark world, the spark which opens up listeners’ heart strings through the eternal power of song.

And So, Dear Reader, when you need the soundtrack of freedom, the noise of personal liberation, and you inevitably must be reborn in the saving power of music, Remember:
Pete Herger’ Rock n’ Roll is Ready for You.
